Black spots on broad beans.

Hi guys, this is my first year of growing beans and i have started of buy growing a pair, but it seems to be that both pairs of beans have black dots appearing on the leaves. But not it seems that ants are being attracted to these balck spots for which i dont know, so is there anyone who know how to get rid of this or is it serious.

I can't believe you have blackfly and ants on your broad beans already. They are only just waking up round here.

Thanks pies but it think that is not it, it had one singal spot on every leaf, and is definately black, but thanks for the advice though.

Where are they growing?

Could it just be frost damage for our lovely winter? Mine have 'burnt' brown/black bits on them too

Mine had some severe burns from snow and frost too, they look more like a whithered blacken part of the leaf - but I picked these leaves off and they grew on fine.

There in the garden but now i put them in a boc to get rid of the ants i couldnt of been frost becuase i planted them indoors and then transfered them outside.

If the black spot is near the stem then thats normal.

The ants have already started on my lottie
