Have you seen this before? - Hanover Slug Fence - Slug control without chemicals

Anyone used it? Not really sure how it'll prevent slugs, but may give it a go..

Have not seen that before but have heard that guttering fastened on the raised bed that way & filled with water is supposed to be a deterrent. Unless you know of any cross gutter swimming slugs.........

I use two deterrents against slugs.

Well, 3 really.

Firstly, I grow in modules everything except P*'*s and carrots. Then, the crops are bigger and less tender and thus less attractive to the slugs.

Then, I mulch in sawdust that I get for free.

Then, I add a handful of organic slug pellets. I find that the first two work most of the time and the last one nips the final few in the bud.

Maybe it works on the same principle as copper or possible the galvanised thing dries them out or feels sharp and cutting like grit and they don't like crossing it.

Ive built a raised bed this year using thease
Lawn Edging with built-in Slug Guard
Ive had sprout plants in there and nothing nibbled yet, so hopefully it works.
