caterpillars !"!!!!!!

i have a majar problem in the last few days all my swede,turnips,lettuce ect ect have been happily eaten by cabbage white caterpillars ..is there any way that i can kill them organiclly...all my beds are in the open air and netting is not an option as it is windy here ,any advice more than welcome cheers tracy

Can't think of anything save netting and squishing. Someone smarter should be along soon though

It's pretty windy here too. You could anchor your netting with tent pegs or something similar.

Because I still work full time and don't have the time to inspect every leaf,every day for eggs and caterpillars,I actually stopped growing brassicas last year and buy what I need from the farmers market.Heresay you say,well yes and no,my blood pressures gone down and I'm growing other veggies in the available ground.
