My lawn is disappearing at a rate of knots. Does anyone know an effective way/product to get rid of them. Everything I have seen up to now is for use on an industrial scale.
Reading the details sounds like science fiction. I do have a child and a cat so it may be better than chemicals. Looks like the wrong time of year to apply but I have nothing to lose, apart from more grass.
I have ordered some nematodes however does anyone know of any other options to eradicate the little blighters. I am prepared to go nuclear if necessary. I did hear that you can cover your lawn with black polythene for a year, but this is not particularly feasible.
Water your lawn, then lay black plastic sheeting over your lawn for a night or two. The grubs will work their way to the surface to lie under the plastic. In the morning pull the plastic off and let the birds eat the grubs.
