Do we reckon a pot scrubbed with Fairy liquid will be clean of larvae?

I've just dug out what seems like 500 white grubs from a pot. I wonder if they have any nutritional value, seeing as the husband has eaten grasshoppers and mopane worms in his life, I wondering if he'd like a serving of grubs! (Vegetarian myself.)

Will go a scrub the pot with fairy liquid too!

Which did you use? The ones I've read about on here only last for 2-4 months

They can't get to them in containers though, you'd need to shake the whole thing out, throw grubs to the birds, rinse of the soil and repot in fresh compost

Also do night time searches with a torch for the adults, which are often seen climbing up walls

Clean of larvae/grubs, not sure if some eggs would survive...? The female lays "eggs over a period of several months from April to September. The eggs are brown and less than 1mm" in size (from my link above)
