One of the gardens I work in has a small bay tree which is being grown as a lollipop. It currently stands about three and a half feet high and last week was looking fine and healthy.
However, today I noticed that a section of the stem of about 4", approx 8 inches below the actual lollipop has turned a dark brown, all the way round and the palnt above is starting to look rather pale and weak. Can anyone suggest what this could be - wil take a photo on Thursday when I'm back there next.
