Not sure if this is the right place for this........
After having all (except one) of our runner beans decapitated finally we have a culprit. We tried little blue sweeties for the slugs, netting, wind chimes and wirly things in case it was birds, and chicken wire (two layers ) in case it was wabbits.
The last two nights we've left a little nipper in with the beans and yesterday and today little nipper was faster than the meeces..
Reeeesult.
Needless to say the little nipper is primed ready for action tonight as well

OH set it the first two nights, I set it today very very carefully .The first times it only had a crust of bread on , today its got a jammy biscuity thing....lets hope anymore go nom no.............

Now have two traps set..........

After a week of setting and emptying traps , I think there is one clever little mouse who can grab the bait without getting caught.
Well maybe not anymore . Went up today one trap sprung, no bait and no mouse.
Second trap sprung, no bait but one ear.....
Sort of puts me off. Don't mind getting rid of dead mice but body parts.....
