Can you get rid of horsetail?

Not helping your plight I know, but you can make use of the horsetail that you pull up, you can make a spray from it that you can use on your plants that acts as a fungicide

Basically chop it up, boil it in some water, leave to cool, sieve and spray on your plants

Keeps your courgettes etc clear of powdery mildew

I have Horsetail, Bindweed, Ground Elder, Thistles, Buttercups, Dandelions etc, etc....think the only evil I don't have is Knotweed.

I used to get so wound up trying to get rid of everything, now I just pick off/pull up what I see and ignore the rest, accepting that somethings were here long before me and will be here long after I have gone.....life is much less stressful now!!

I find napalm quite effective ...... failing that I just pull it up .

I have a small patch of it, unfortunately it's in my asparagus patch. Along with couch grass, bindweed, and about a thousand pot marigold seedlings. Asparagus is not happy - does not like me weeding.
