Oh my word! Is this blight?

On top of possible cucumber mosaic virus, I also thisnk I have blight on a couple of outdoor toms (armpits).

Can anyone confirm please? I know i have to destroy these if it is!

Ive not watered them taff since I potted them on! We have had torrential rain here and thunder storms. We are in a valley so it gets misty and humid. We have also had a blight warning so Im a bit panicky!

Do you think its just the excess rain then?

Not been outside for a bit as have been under the weather so if anything they should be neglected!

Indoor toms look ok. And not all the uotdoor toms are in this state. It could just be its a newly transplanted armpit thats been thundered on for the ast few days maybe. Oh I hope so! Ill may be leave it then to see if it dries out, no rain (well very little) rain today, so it might improve?

blight normally looks darker brown patches, and it also shows on the stems. im no expert but ive managed to loose all my toms to them for the last 2 years. fingers crossed i get a crop this year!

are there any holes in the bottom of that pot? If the waters sitting on the surface, the whole pot could be full, and you'll end with drowned toms [having seen the state of some of mine today that were overwatered, I am doubly conscious of it now]

yes there are holes, my kids previously had this as there new potatoes pot and it was draining fine. I think its just the huge amount of rain we've had.
The holes are underneah though and arent big so maybe we should drill a few round the sides at the bottom.

Its not so bad as they were extra freebies, I was just worried about it spreading to the rest of the crop

I dread to think what state the allotments are in, specially me sweet corn!

some of mine have started to look like that over the last few weeks. I water them once or twice a week and give them a feed, cut the bad leaves off and it seems to sort them out.

They look like they've been damaged by wind and rain - we had storms here over the last few days and some of my runner bean leaves look like that. Don't fret over it too much!

Thanks all! Sory for fretting, first the toms and then downy mildew on cucs! The thought of having both crops wiped out was too much to bear!!
