Hiya again,

Peppers are going strong and the Corugettes have taken over the garden,

now my herbs are under attack from something, there were some white "pods" less than 1mm attached to some of the rocket leaves. which seem to have disappeared but now my window sill and on the rocket leaves seem to have black granuals on them......any ideas on what it is?

Hi Slackda, firstly welcome to the vine.
To be honest it looks like caterpillar poo. The little white things under the leaves were probably eggs, have a look round the plant, lift the leaf and have a look under it. If its caterpillars squidge them it will make you feel sooooo much better.

That's definitely frass (caterpillar poo). Check for any curled, folded leaves: there's a caterpillar snuggled up inside
