I can't believe it - mares tail !

I was pulling a load of mares tale out of a garden and a woman walked past and said "Stop trying to pull it out and just pour boiling water all over it, then leave it".

I laughed and she went "no, seriously. It's the only thing that ever works".

No idea how effective it is, but I got the impression she's been through the mill with this stuff.
