      On the subject of pests and deseases, I have a problem with my fruit trees and goosbery bushes. I can't identify a silvery grey growth that is spreading over the branches. It looks just like tiny flowers of coral. I've searched on this site and so far can't find anything close. It isn't powdery like mildew and is not fussy what it spreads to. All the plants are in an open situation with plenty of air circulation and sun. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful.

                Yes, it does look like litchen, but It spreads onto the fruit on the gooseberry bushes and makes the gooseberries look fools. How do I deter litchen?
