Plants dying

Hi, new gardener with problems!

I have recently noticed that lots of the shubs in my garden are shriveling up then dying. Plants are Fuschia, lavender, Rosemary, Passion Flower etc. Could this be frost? The plants are a mixture of new-ish and established.

A lot of marginally tender plants and shrubs have died this winter due to the very cold snap, it's only now when they should be starting to leaf up that people are noticing how many. Sorry! You may have to visit the garden centre!

Had a horrible feeling that may be the case, I shall beg some cuttings off friends I think!
