  • Small shiny black beetles burrowing

    As I was making the hole's to plant out in, these small bettles would scuttle through the soil and fall down in to the hole's. Very bizarre. Are they harmful to my veg?

      Sorry two sheds, didn't get any pics. Done some googling though and it looks most likely to be the Flea Beetle going from memory of how it looked:

      Is there other beetles that look similar or is that likely to be the one?

        Flea beetles are tiny wee things (2mm) and don't really scuttle, they jump (like fleas)
