Good morning all, I have noticed small brown spots on some of my Glen Moy raspberries. These can be picked off with the thumb nail leaving a hole in the leaf. Any ideas as to what it can be? How can I treat it? I've looked in my soft fruit book but it doesn't appear there. The autumn fruiting types don't appear to have any.

I got my bible out - 'The RHS Gardening Manual' - the only raspberry problem in there is raspberry beetle which affects the fruit, not the leaves.
The only thing that looks like what you've described in the 'discoloured leaves' section is Fungal Leaf Spot. But I can't find out if raspberries suffer from it. The advice for this disease is probably sound for your problem though. Pick off the affected leaves and dispose of them, and remove any rotting leaves or debris from around the plant.
