do I REALLY need nematodes?

Another vine weevil question for the experts - I keep finding the adults on my nightly slug-hunt, most worryingly on my 2 blueberry plants in pots. Generally 4-6 a night in my very small garden + pots. But if I kill the blighters, do I need nematodes too? Just seems very expensive if I can do without it...and if you think I do need it, will one dose do?

so true. frankly buying anything gardeny is hard to resist. and yes those blubes weren't cheap. ok am persuaded. it's your fault.
