What is the tell tale signs of cucumber mosaic virus?

Misshapen small fruits with green wart type thingies, yellow/white patches. No cure, wash hands thoroughly before touching any other plants.

Ah, sounds very likely then =( poor little plants

It will be the very hot spell we have just had, if your sure have them out but take care with cross contamination to your other plants that includes marrows and other curbits.

I'll stick some pictures on tomorrow so i can get a full confirmation if it is the virus before I begin ripping stuff out. I never seem to have much luck with the cukes, lost all my plants last year as well but that was due to foot rot (only had a couple of plants anyway)
