Yet again, in spite of cleaning and disinfecting the tunnel and the bamboo canes at the end of last season, and ensuring a humid atmosphere around these plants, RSM has hit my show cukes. Not a happy bunny right now!!

So frustrating. I've been on the look out for it but so far have escaped. Don't know if any varieties are less susceptible than others but I'm growing "Femspot" this year. Mind you about to go on hols so don't know what I'll come back to! -
There is a biological control for spider mite - might be worth getting it in early next year? We got it for our chillis a couple of years ago and it was soon under control even though it was a pretty bad infestation...Comment
