I have a customer who loves it, and says that it is rare. He told me that just after I had strimmed it all down to ground level. His garden is over-run with Himalayan Balsam, and the two look very similar in their early stages of growth. (Well, they do to me!)All the best - Glutton 4 Punishment

I would have said that was Pellitory of the Wall. Similar looking to Dog's Mercury but that has the flowers all up on top of a taller stem, not along the stalk like these. Try Google Images and see what you think.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

I think you're right Flum. Apparently Dog Mercury does have different incarnations, i couldn't find one with red or pink roots or stems...along with the flowers along the stems.
The offer of someone coming to take it away still stands though, ahoo aha ahee...
