    We need a "groan" emoticon

    I shall carry on with the ultra scientific

      TBH if I was to spend any time at all considering what may stop my crops from coming to fruition then nothing would get planted.
      Known problems to date include;
      Carrot fly
      Slugs
      Mice
      Squirrels
      Pigeons
      Cabbage white butterfly (large & small)
      Leek moth
      Allium root miner
      Moles
      Green aphids
      White aphids
      White fly
      Black fly

      I dare say there are more, but as a lot of these are beyond my control, the best I can do is ...... bung it in & see what happens

                Aye, that's a phrase I use a lot ! (You wouldn't know it sometimes online, though. )

                BB, do you have a new avatar ? Or am I doing that thing I always do with women's hair that always annoys them, when I notice six months later ?
