  • Unwelcome Horseradish removal

I've got some horseradish growing right next to a couple of my apple cordons. I thought I'd dug it all out before planting them but this year there are three new sites right next to the cordons. Can I kill it with glyphosate so I don't have to disturb the soil, or is it too strong a plant to be affected? Anyone else had experience of horseradish removal without digging? I don't need to save any for eating, I've got some growing in an old water tank where it can't get a hold in the ground.

You could try glyphosate, but this needs to be applies when the plants are actively growing, i.e. next Spring.

I can do that as I have some growing elsewhere that needs to come out. PM me your details and I'll send you some.
Mind where you put it though!
