Mosquito net tents

Has anyone used Army surplus mosquito net tents and canopies to protect their fruit and veg crops? Something like this might do: Surplus US Army Issue Mosquito Camp Bed Net
There are larger tents that might be OK as fruit cages too.

Mr Pots has one of these but up to yet I've not been able to sneak it into the garden.

I have a couple like that too, souvenirs of holidays in malaria areas! My mother bought a Mosquito tent when we were kids and we use to take it on picnics and have a great time playing in it. I remembered it today, with the chat about fruit cage netting - hence this thread!
