Saw the first seed heads of the season today,so will have to keep extra eye out to nip the seed heads of ASP, we got enough of it already, without it shedding seeds/spores,must be the warmer weather,

Collect it all up, boil it and use it to keep your spuds blight free.
do you mean the fern like greenery,if so that has yet to start,i was collecting for my special brew barrel last year, together with rhubarb leaves, and other not composting weeds,it absolutely reeks now,I only got the mushroomy seed/spores heads just popping up for now, also would it work on tomatoes as well, although last year our site was very lucky and escaped it,
Does it have to be boiled same as rhubarb leaves,or simply water the home brew down, and spray it on the whole plant as and when, sounds very interesting,

Yeah I pulled the first load up on Sunday, although it's a pain I find pulling up the longest length of root I can quite satisfying - is that strange?
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
