    it started appearing on the line about 20 years ago, and it just travelled, so I have no idea how it got there in the first place. It's only the last 5 or so years it's gone.
    However... I threw a load of white bluebells [you know what I mean] on the bank behind the house about 20 years ago also....the knotweed was growing there...these days, the knotweed is gone, but the white bells are still there..so they can't have used a kill everything plan....
    Chris, it's an old railway line that used to run into the corner of the cynon valley, it runs from one end of the vally to Margham Park in Swansea, through the Country Park and beyond....
    this is the view from there, it's right at the top of one side of the valley...in front of the house are some allotments,you can just see theline of allotment fencing on the right. It's an approximantion fo the view, it's a lot bigger and further away than it looks here
