SlugGone 3.5 litre bucket [Organic Slug Pellets] - Angus Horticulture Ltd - angus-horticulture.co.uk
found this just, did find an ole thread on this so ive now got to expect a smell and determined slugs getting over this.
A lot of plotters have been giving me the sympathic look when i say im determined not to use slug pellets ( the look of we've been there and gave in, ) and a lot of plotters do use hell of a lot of pellets ive noticed, there is blue everywhere. While i know their crop is important, there are an awful lot of wildlife at the site, and those so called organic pellets are not as enviromentally freindly as you think.
for 7 odd quid which unless you are buying the poundshops slug pellets, isnt a bad price i dont think for 3.5 litres, Im going to experiment with this stuff and add ground seashells ( which i get for nothing as i live next to the sea ) Im going to wash the shells first to lower the salt a bit as not to effects the plants to much, and once the pellets have swelled i will sprinkle a load of the crushed shells. Ive got to give it a try.
grapefruits are going well find loads under them in hotspots, but ive yet to stick out my slug delicacies yet ie. lettuces
Have I lost the plot you reckon
