  • oh and...leaf miners

so, as you can see from my most recent posts, all help cgratefully received about vine weevils, aphids/ladybird larvae and now...leaf miners. or life miners, or leaf minders, as i keep typing...
i think that's what they are - ugly brown deadish bits on all my carefully-germinated flat leaved parsley, broad bean leaves (WHY do i keep trying to grow them? fool), etc etc. Are they something i should be nematoding too, or is there a cheaper cure? do they even matter? come on grapes, put on your thinking sou'westers and tell me your thoughts...

You say brown dead bits on leaves. Leaf miners usually leave trails in the leaves leaf miner - Google Search

Any pictures of the damage to your plants?

am pathetically bad at uploading pics (otherwise i'd have been showing my pride and joy, my 7 foot kale tree, before it er blew over) so no - but each leaf has brown dead bits. Now you say it, maybe it's something else - my beans, lettuces etc have more obvious trails. help!
