Aphids and what looks like red aphids?

Got these on my indoor Pepper/Chilli plants.

I tend to remove and kill them by hand but it become a bit tedious over time. Is there any decent spray I can use that isnt harmful to children and isnt too harsh? One for Greenhouse would be handy too.

How much damage do one or two aphids do to pepper plants exactly? Also are some aphids red as I noticed small red ones on one of my plants? ( they arent red spider mites).

I'm not sure if Aphids are responsible but one of my stalk and buds turned yellow and broke off recently, randomly.

Aphids can be green, black or red. One or two on your plants won't harm them too much.

You could try a dilute washing-up liquid spray..... assuming this doesn't harm the chooks!

Think I shall stay a country mile away from washing up liquid, after I accidently got some on one of my pepper plants and it destroyed it

Well, they breed. If you don't squish them, you'll have ten thousand of them by next week
