I sowed some new cukes a week or so ago and they're 2 inches tall. The slugs/snails also got my squash and courgettes on the lottie, so I have some just emerging seedlings now. They are all staying with me until properly big and beefy. This will be my third and last attempt at curcurbits this year

Same thing happened to my cuc's and squashes. I'd planted them out at the beginning of June but dug them back up again at the end of the month after several got eaten.
Don't despair though, one of my cuc's was nothing more than a stumpy stem after snails ate every sinlge leaf, I didn't want to throw it away as it was the last of that variety.....after a week new leaves started to appear!
I've still got them all in pots...too scared to plant them back out whilst it's so wet.
Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs!
