    C - it doesn't work anyway (you need to keep applying it, as the new weeds appear)
    D - it's harmful to frogs & earthworms

      Don't want to be on the wrong end of your wrath and scorn Zaz, but methinks Pesticide is the proper collective term for herbicide,molluscicide,rodenticide and probably all manner of other cides as well!

      Like you though, I am no fan of Monsanto's products or ethics..........

        Thanks guys, I've attacked it with the brush cutter, then the strimmer, then the mower - now just need to start saving any big cardboard boxes I get! Doesn't look quite so daunting now. Thanks for all advice.

          Good for you, Ryan. It may have been a lot of hard work but now you know that your soil has not been contaminated by chemicals. Happy growing
