And this could have equally applied to the weeds - loads of them starting into growth early as well!

Sw1nes, I loathe them, more than I thought I could loathe anything! Girls are going in the poly tomorrow if I see any.

I've heard that there were very few winter holiday bookings at Slugcruises.com; even the Three weeks for the price of two holidays at SlugVillas were going cheap. We need a spell of bitterly cold weather to make them pack their bags and head for the sun

One the flip side though - I thought you were on about spring bulbs! We have a few poking their heads through! Hurray

Do you think the Garden of Eden had slugs or where they man;s punishment for original sin?

I harvested the first of my winter cabbages at weekend, and found a couple of tiny slugs nestling in the outer leaves.

Nothing in the centre though, thank goodness.

I replenished the slug pellets across the entire plot, just in case as the last lot I put down have long since been washed away by our lovely Manchester weather.

Has anyone got any of the Spanish slugs? They're apparently on the increase in the UK, and nothing's safe from them, they eat poo, dead mice and even each other, and that's not including all the greenery they can get their slimy mitts on!

I never get that many slugs my frogs deal with that problem.

You can't deport them either E.U. rules
