These wee blighters are out of one small pot in my kitchen. I walked in this morning to flies all over and managed to track them to this one pot Said pot is now out in the cold (no pun intended Mr KCN)

Well now... we get one robin in our garden. Only rarely at that
I think it's because we are in a new development and folk around us are not bothering with their gardens other than cutting the grass. We have feeders out to attract them but no joy. Have been here since Nov 2011
Any suggestions? As you might guess, there are no predators to keep bugs away.When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

birds will have been used to there being nothing to eat in your garden so just won't be coming around as a matter of course. If you put out a bird table or similar (best not on the gorund as that attracts vermin)
eventually the birds will find it and you will then have regular visitors if there is food to find. Robins are not the best advert. Terribly territorial and may actually be keeping other birds away
