Rabbits And Potato Plants?

Can anybody tell me if wild rabbits will eat potatoes? We'd like to have a big-ish potato plot and wondered if the little darlings would eat those as well as everything else?

they won't survive eating the foliage, it is poisonous. More likely to get damage from pheasants in the countryside

We have had probs with mice/voles and slugs- but not bunnies.

I think they'd have to be pretty starving to choose to dig up the spuds when there's grass around.

My MIL has terrible trouble with rabbits eating the vegetables but they do leave the potatoes alone.
