after finally cracking under the constant nibbling of seedlings in my greenhouse, I decided to buy a trap to get rid of the problem mouse that has taken residence. (not usually into harming fauna, but there is a limit!)
i set the trap up yesterday evening with a dried pea as bait, returned this morning to find the trap had been sprung and in it A HUGE BLACK SLUG.
the mouse was probably laughing at me as i tried to remove slimy remains from my nice new trap. now have slug pellets around the trap to stop them eating the bait.
I feel that I am begining to be a little obsessive about this, anyone else had this kind of problem?
