Leaf curl on Kale

I was away for a few weeks & came back and my kale have been subjected to some kind of catterpillar festival. There were cabbage whites, big green ones and also clusters of big orange eggs.

I gave them a spray with fairy liquid solution but the next day noticed a curling in the leaves. The leaves have since worsened and seem to be drying out/discolouring.

Anybody got any ideas what this is, and a possible remedy if so?

I've no idea what the problem is but if it happened the day after you sprayed them - I would question that!

I think you put too much fairy liquid in your spray.

Pick off all the damaged leaves as long as you've got new leaves coming from the centre, they'll be fine. Mine were attacked while I was on holiday and are coming back now.
