  • Poorly Camellia Sinensis

My new plant is not very well. Some of the leaves have taken on a lacy appearance and others have gone brown from the tips (see photos). There are white sticky fibres on the 'lacy' leaves too. Can anyone suggest a remedy?

    Many thanks

Hello Richard and welcome. I'm no expert on camellias but I have several in the garden - up to 15' tall now
Do you keep your plant indoors? It should be fine outdoors - the brown tips could be because the air is too dry. I'd pick off the lacy leaves in case they're harbouring some pest - assuming that leaves you with some healthy leaves!!
If you've just bought it and you're worried - take it back to the retailer and ask for a replacement
Could you add your location to your profile please as it would help us when giving advice - thanks.
