  • Broad bean rust

I have rust too, read the info in RHS. How long does the spore survive? Do you have to use fungicide on the soil? can you replant the area? how long after removing the plants?
    Thanks

Broad beans... is it rust or is it chocolate spot? Might even be the same thing. Mine always get choc spots, but I eat the beans anyways

Rust is bright orange/yellow - chocolate splot is dark brown blotches.

My beans have rust but the pods are OK. However, I'll plant the next lot elsewhere in the lottie!
