I've attached some photos but here's the gist of it:
My grape vine has been very healthy and producing grapes for some 2 decades now.
Last spring about 20-25% of the new leaves on the vine have developed bumps. When turning the leaf over I can see that the bumps have accumulated some white downy stuff.
After a while the bumps multiply and the leaf starts to turn brown around the bumps before eventually drying out.
I've looked up downy mildew disease, which (from the photos) looks similar to the downy stuff on the reverse of the bumps, but doesn't seem to explain the bumps themselves.
The vine is in Central Europe (i.e. Humid Continental Climate).
Any ideas on what is causing this and what I can do about it?
Many thanks!
