Beetle identification help please?

Hello,

I saw this beetle in my garden this afternoon, I was just wondering if anyone knew what type it is, I have never seen one like this before.

looks like a shield bug,there are different ones,

Oooh that's a pretty beetle! I don't think it's quite the right shape for a shield bug. Maybe some kind of chafer? I'll see if I can find out.

I think it's a Rose Chafer. Usually they are metallic green all over, but sometimes they have pink front parts. I've seen some all-green ones on rose flowers in a garden in Slovakia, which is presumably how they get their name. Here's a pic of a pink and green one like yours.
