Well behaved weed - what is it?

Hi,
I have a prolific but very well behaved weed on my plot but I haven't been able to find out what it is (I only got the plot this spring).

It only grows leaves (or maybe is biennial), stays about 1-3 inches big for ages. In the length of the year the biggest ones have got as big as the photo below and developed multiple rosettes.

The leaves are a bit hairy. The root system is small and easy to pull up. It is not tough like a plaintain, instead the leaves rip easily when pulled.

I have it all over the plot as if it has been seeded, however none of the plants are seeding, flowering or showing any signs of reproducing other than developing multiple rosettes.

I would suggest that it is Lambs Lettuce or Mache. It is bi annual but if left to seed becomes a prolific weed.

I don't know Lamb's Lettuce so can't comment.

Lambs lettuce looks a bit like forget me not but the leaves are shiny.

From looking online it seems most like lambs lettuce apart from the leaves being hairy. Maybe I have a special hairy version?!

Another vote for forget-me-not. I'm happy to let it flower (and seed) anywhere where it's not in the way, since it's so easy to pull up when the space is needed for something else.

Hairy = forget-me-not. My favourite weed as it's so well behaved. Unlike strawberries which are also my favourite weed but for a different reason

PS. FMN are biennials so yours will flower next spring

It's myosotis: there are 100s of self-sown plants on my plot, some of which I allow to flower, the rest are treated as green manure: pulled up, roughly chopped, and left on the soil as a mulch
