Acetone banned for purchase unless a company from the 1st september, nitromethane banned in any product greater than 30% from the 1st september, peroxide greater than 12% banned 1st september
Even as a company we need to make declarations as to the use of acetone, everyone does but it says not for sale to the general public declaration forms need to be kept by the seller and purchaser for something like 10 years
Members of the general public to buy lots of chemicals have to buy a licence now , only costs about £40 every year but needs criminal background and financial background check and they can still turn you down for a secret reason
There are many other bits of law banning different things in different amounts, this is a bit of it

Check out the amended chemical weapons and explosive precurser regulations as well as the drug precurser regulations, they state somewhere what people have to do to prove they have a real reason to buy something

Other things baned under other bits of legislation, nitric acid, sulfuric acid, strong sodium hypochlorate ( bleach )
