Anyone recognise this plant?

Hello all,

I am new to this GYO business and wanted some advice please!



This plant has sprung out of a packet of parsley seeds - I'm fairly confident its not parsley (!) and also think it is probably a weed - but wanted to make sure its not something more interesting before I throw it away!

The pictures aren't brilliant unfortunately - but any advice welcome!

Hi and welcome!
Looks like rocket or maybe a kale. have a little nibble of a leaf and see if it tastes hottish or cabbagey.

Looks a bit like rocket to me I was going to say taste one of the leaves but if you are not sure, best to leave it!

Thanks for your kind help - it turned out to be a poppy!!

Maybe a good thing I didnt try the leaves...

No flowers now - unfortunately I missed them while I was on holiday - but the seed heads are definitely poppies - adding to my nice collection of poppy seeds for the front garden though!
