  • Has Anyone Used Grazers ~~~

Has anyone used 'Grazers' Rabbit and Deer Repellent? Repels also squirrels, pigeons, mice and voles .......

It's been used by farmers and says it's harmless to pets and people ... Says it's made from natural trace elements and safe to use on edibles and ornamentals. Absorbed into the leaves and lasts for 6 weeks .....

Was thinking of buying a bottle (£12.25 for 375ml..... so not cheap, but ...) as just today there was a SQUIRREL running across the top of my shed, a RABBIT staring back at me and the ever present family of fat wood PIGEONS....

    (Not to mention ruddy SLUGS!!!)

I just feel that everyone else will be eating my plants before they even get a fighting chance to grow .....!!!

    SO, whaddya think ........????

    Never heard of it!
Just had a quick gooogle and it says it's natural.
Has some very mixed reviews though...I wonder if it's down to how and when you use it?

    Amazon.co.uk:Customer Reviews: Grazers Garden-250ml bottle

    Worth a try...you won't know otherwise.

375ml is not a lot Susie. For the animals you are trying to deter I would spend the 12 squid on some discreet netting & net everything, I'm thinking of doing the same. I say discreet as I assume you are growing in your garden.

Yes, BM, growing in the garden. Do you think netting will keep bunnies off my plants ....?? They are (one!) of my main concerns .... and wood pigeons .....

Do check that type if netting regularly ....as hedgehogs and birds can get their legs tangled in it.
I stopped using it for that very reason.

I bought some Grazers for a new football pitch I was seeding at work. The anticipated grazing of the pitch by rabbits didn't happen, so the unopened bottle is still there waiting to be used.

Not much help I'm afraid. I'll let you know if the rabbits have a change of heart!

I've used the slug repeling spray with good success, but with anything you spray onto a plant, the rain will washing off.

So always respray every few days.
Today I planted out my sunflowers and smothered them in the stuff.

For the last 2 years the slush have destroyed every plant...l so wish me luck...
