Hello fellow veg heads,Newby here looking for some advice. I've got a few brocoli plants growing in containers that I planted out the end of March. They seem to be coming along quite nicely but a few of the leaves seem be having a few problems, some look nibbled around the edges and some seem to be deteriorating almost and going Web like and with shiny dry slime residue on the affected area,I've ruled out slug and snails unless there zip lining in ,as there's no evidence of trails around/on the containers.no other sign of pests underneath the leaves although there are a few tiny unknown spiders making webs between the plants, i just keep dusting the webs off as I see them, should I make an assasnation attempt on spiders or leave them be.Back to the leaves I had a theory it's sun burn from morning dew/water droplets sitting on the leaves as the sun's been unsually hot from early morning this week but can't see that being th cause round the edges.
Hopefully I've uploaded the photos correctly so you know what I'm talking about in regard to the leaves.Any advice welcome from the wise guys and gals amongst you and thanks in advance.
