Poorly Apple Tree

I cannot believe or realise how bad my apple tree has become. I have tried the normal shop spray but having been away for 2 weeks it is n a bad way so do I try to recover or get rid. Every bit of advise is appreciated

Is it in a pot or the ground? I hate to throw things out while there's a glimmer of life left, so I would remove all the dead and diseased/blemished leaves, feed it well, stop spraying it, keep it well watered, and hope that it will regenerate itself.

Any chance of an overall pic? What variety, rootstock, age etc. will help more knowledgeable grapes.

First impression to me but likely to be wrong is you have possible bitterpit or fungal issue with the fruit so I would remove and destroy along with any fruit lurking on the ground. Second pic looks possibly like result of aphids or dieback (again quite likely to be wrong) I would cut out and destroy diseased/affected branches. Prune as normal in winter and give it a feed. If it is on a dwarf or semi dwarfing rootstock I would remove anything within its drip line that could be competing with it.

Lastly, how long have you had the tree and has it always had issues?

I believe it is a Brabourne apple tree, it was planted in the ground when purchased May 2015 so this is the first summer with fruit. It is about 5ft high at the moment.

If it was mine I would do as already said and just put this year down to establishing itself and an off year.

I'm no expert either but i do believe in keeping the ground clear of fallen fruit and don't forget the leaves. From your photos I would say there is at least a 50:50 chance of it comming good next.
