Ran into a problem with my chilli plants...HELP!!

Hi guys, I hope you are all well.

I'm a long time grower, growing all types of fruit, veg and various other plants/trees.

My chilli plants were growing great untill last week and I have no idea what is going on.
A few of the flowers grew and blossomed just fine but a few days later they fell off and new all of the little new buds will darken, dry up and fall off. I am watering them the right amount and I'm also using chilli focus nutrients. The only thing I can think of is that the nutrients are too rich and killing the baby flowers but two of my other chilli plants have the same amount of nutrients and they are just fine, it's only my bhut jolokia and doughla that aren't growing properly.

Can anyone help me out?

It's very common, especially in the hotter varieties, for the flowers to drop especially as its early on in the season. Have you tried hand pollinating?

Hi Scarlet, I hand pollinated the first few of the flowers but they still dropped off, now it's getting to the point were they don't even blossom anymore 🤔🤔

Well, it’s very early for flowers....and chillies often give a flush of flowers and then stop for a bit....and you said it’s just been this week?

How big are the plants?
A photo would help

I will take photos as soon as i can, they're slightly above 2 foot in height.
I forgot to mention that i am growing indoors, would this make a difference?

^^^^Yes,, less insects in the house. Get the paintbrush/ cotton bud out. I'm sure you are worrying about nothing. A few more weeks and they will start to set but giving them a helping hand won't hurt.

No info on Douglah except I believe it is same species as Bhut jolokia

not from china despite name.

Biggest thing to consider is origin of species and try replicate warm and humid conditions...
