You'll be even more disappointed that they've cut their seeds by 75% now.

Nipped in today for some screws, ended up with more seeds than I can fit in my garden...again!

I think the majority of people prefer the free seeds on the Mag. I got the tomato food and the watering can (already have 5). Can't get the secateurs (out of stock and I have about 8 pairs) but I never have enough seeds even if it is rocket seeds. I especially like the 3 packets in one that have appeared in the past.

That said, if anyone wants my vouchers, feel free to PM me so they don't go to waste!
My nearest Wilko is 100 miles away in Glasgow - 3 hours on mostly single track roads!!!
My vouchers too are up for grabs.

I always prefer the free packets of seeds as I'm too disorganised to either have the voucher with me when I happen to be on one of my rare visits into the town centre. Even if I were to go into wilkos with a free voucher, I'd end up buying stuff I don't need, and the stuff that you get isn't that high a value, so for me, I'd end up 'down' on my money.

          More free seeds please!

Yes more free seeds, even flowers would be welcome and encourage me to take out a subscription. I don't go into town that often so it's not worth the hassle to go in just for something that the store probably wont have in stock.

I believe that the Mag chops and changes between tools and seeds; at this current time of harvest secateurs are more useful than seeds whereas at the start of the year, seeds are more useful.

They also have to take sponsors where they can get them....and you can't please everyone unless the sponsor was a company with a shop in every town/village......so unless the post office steps forward......

that's the general idea to get you in with a 'loss leader' and they know you'll probably end up spending more

I would also prfer to have something free with the mag and not something I have to go and get. Seeds are the obvious choice but something other than tomatoe,s carrots or beetroot which seem to be the norm. Small feed satchets would be ok as would garden gloves although they may be too big or too small for some, and I am sure there are other things that would fit with the mag.

There's a wilko a couple of minutes walk from me but I don't buy tools from there usually. I find them to be pretty naff quality. I've never had much luck with their seeds either. Though I did get the gloves that were free a couple of months back.

Don't bother with Stortford or harlow, they're also both outa stock too

It would seem that Wilkis has a problem at the moment

Sarz- in response, I agree that they are in a difficult position! Very few companies are Truly UK wide!

It would cost more to post them......than they sell them in the shop...
