I am disappointed to say that I haven't got mine yet either - was beginning to think my credit card had been declined and they hadn't told me - so glad it's not just me

I got mine about the 6th/7th.
It is fine for me (new to growing) as it shows separately over 3 pages for each veg: the monthly to-dos, preparation, sowing, growing, caring for, harvesting, pests, tips, varieties to try and some of the suppliers (presumably tried and tested for a good deal), useful contacts. Odds about container growing, sowing outdoors, sowing indoors, some 'did you know's.

        The veg described are:
        Leeks
        French beans
        Pumpkins and squashes
        Courgettes
        Sweet peppers
        Sweetcorn
        Sprouting broccoli
        Beetroot
        Chillies
        Summer salads
        Carrots
        Potatoes
        Tomatoes
        Rhubarb
        Garlic
        Broad beans
        Onions
        Brussels sprouts

        The seeds are:
        Broccoli Early Purple
Mesculun Mixed (seems like a lettucy type of thing)
        Chard Vulcan
        Pepper Rokita
        Rocket Apollo
        Beetroot Boltardy
        Tomato Garden Pearl
        Courgette Romanesco
        Carrot Autumn King
        Lettuce Little Gem

They are basic veg, I know, which experienced growers probably know inside out, but for me the magazine and seeds are ideal.
There are a few ads of course, but they are limited and are pertanent to the growing guide itself.
I am satisfied with it and I am sure it will get a huge amount of use this year and next. After that I expect I will be more adventurous and experienced and will be able to pass it on to some other newbie on my lottie site. Or put it away for posterity. Maybe my girls will develop a passion for growing one day and make use of it themselves.

“If your knees aren't green by the end of the day, you ought to seriously re-examine your life.”

"What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." Ralph Waldo Emerson

Charles Churchill : A dog will look up on you; a cat will look down on you; however, a pig will see you eye to eye and know it has found an equal

Surely if you've subscribed to 12 months of GYO then you've probably got everything offered in the book somewhere in one of the issues ? Multipacks of seeds like that don't interest me so much as i'm limited for space and choose exactly what i want to grow. Of the 10 packs of seeds included i would have chosen 2.
