Got your June issue yet?

Just wondered if there were any seeds in the June issue. I've tried to germinate 2 lots of Hunter Butternuts over the last month, indoors in a propgator that gets a bit of heat from a nearby radiator and no sign of any seedlings at all. Whilst a packet of seeds would cost me under �2, no point in buying them if GYO is going to give us some!!

It's taken about 6 weeks for mine to germinate Vince. I planted 12 and have 3 that have germinated. They now have 4 leaves on them and are looking lovely and strong!

Better go and buy your seeds Vince. The May mag says that the June one comes with Lollo Rossa lettuce and Courgette Tondo di Piacenza (round ones!). And a free tayberry (+ p&p).

Thanks ladies. Off to Wilko's tomorrw then! I grew round courgettes a couple of years back and they did really well - picked them when they were a bit bigger than a golf ball. Very nice.

I got mine yesterday. It's a good issue with lots of advice that is pertinent to to my activities at the moment. Think I might take advantage of the 3 issues for �6 too as haven't subscribed yet.
