Appears to be working well at the moment but as Snadger says it would be nice to know what’s been going on!

It is slow, constant ‘bad gateway’ messages and virtually unusable.

I, like the forum owners, have given up!

It's amazing how quickly people give up when things are not going smoothly. We are living in difficult times, people are sick, dying, not at work, and yet we expect instant repair, everything put right in the blink of an eye. We are too used to having everything we want at the instant click of a button. It's only been a couple of days, folks. Where's your loyalty?

It's actually been a few weeks. Of course it's difficult times, if the Admins just came on and said look it's due to people WFH, bandwidth, etc then fine, everyone woud accept that??

Has it? I've only noticed the slowness these last two days, and it's only a couple of minutes delay at most. Perhaps the time of day makes a difference? I'm mostly early morning or early evening.

Loyalty works both ways Nicos. A simple word from Admin to forum members like yourself and me who have been 'loyal' for over a decade wouldn't go amiss. Its common courtesy methinks.

Well I know it’s not what people want to hear if it’s still broken for them but mine seems ‘fairly’ ok now. It’s still very slow and not back to normal but it was pretty pointless for me a few days ago so some improvement.

                          Whoever is sorting it, thanks.

                          Kind Regards..........Rob .

In these exceptional times, things and people are under more pressure than normal, phones/video connections and broadband suppliers are all experiencing problems. Sites are crashing and one companies broadband has apparently gone off line. We all are looking for a distraction, something to do and if it's a forum not working as we might like, it can be frustrating. However stop and think about your actions and consider those who are trying to carry on doing what they can and may I remind people about language and to treat other posters with the respect you would like to receive from them.

I fully agree with you burnie, it's better to be nice than nasty

Just back on to add that I have had a lot of pleasure from the Vine since I joined and this is my second time on, the first time a felt that I was not made welcome, but came back as there was a lot of good information and things had changed, I do hope that things settle down again, as grapes accept that there will always be a problem at some point in a forum running 24hrs a day7days a week,

it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Still here. Didn't really want to go anywhere so it's nice now it's mended.
