Is this mended? it is running slower this morning for me than it has most mornings before the shut down.
As for loyalty, I am a little disappointed that this is even a thing and who is it loyalty to - the grapes, the mods or the forum (as I have never had it for the forum!) .

All the IT staff that keep us able to play on here.

And while I'm on the subject, let's here it for every single person who is out there at work while the rest of us are CB. It's NOT just the NHS, who always get the first mention, but also the IT workers, utility workers, farmers, growers, breakdown services, gas/electricity men/women, factory workers, armed services, all those people in the background who without our really taking account of it, are keeping our lives running in the (almost) accustomed way. Thanks one and all.

Glad to be able to get back on. Hopefully the forum is fixed , and if so I am grateful but I still think that admin are lying low and a visit even to say hello would be welcome.

We all are looking for a distraction, something to do and if it's a forum not working as we might like, it can be frustrating. Burnie, I am full of respect for you and all of the moderators on this site and of course the posters.
Frustration occurs when you think the people you are trying to get through to aren't listening. If my language has caused any offence to anyone I apologise, but at least it has started a dialogue.

The ones it was aimed at still haven't replied as yet as far as I can see, to let us know the great things they are doing with the forum but hey -ho, life goes on.

Well it was ok last night. Still chugging a bit though. :/
Our England is a garden, and such gardens are not made
By singing-'Oh how beautiful!" and sitting in the shade,
While better men than we go out and start their working lives

I don't know how the magazine offices are staffed, we're not told as we are not employees of Aceville, but I don't think I would be jumping to conclusions if I were to presume that maybe not all the staff are at work, some may be working from home as my family members are/have been doing. Work carries on but perhaps not at 100 percent.
We moderators are just like the rest of you in as much as we rarely get any insight as to how the business works and only get the briefest of communication with regards as to what is going on behind the scenes. Now I deal with his in the manner that I enjoy visiting the forum daily, I enjoy the posts and questions and to be honest, we sort of run the site as if it were a bunch friends down at the lottie/in the garden. What the magazine does, or does not do rarely impacts on me and my enjoyment of my virtual friends.
